Cranbrook's Volunteer Assisted Shopping Program has been in service since 1996. Clients are matched one-on-one with a volunteer who provides assistance with the task of grocery shopping.  The Volunteer Assisted Shopping Program is for people who may need assistance with shopping, whether due to medical or sensory difficulties. 

Volunteer's meet the shopper's at Safeway each Friday afternoon to assist with grocery shopping, followed by a tea and social at the Cranbrook Mall. 

Transportation is provided by HandyDART, which costs $2.50 each way.
